About El Dorado Festival

Launched in 2016, El Dorado is an intimate and enchanting boutique camping festival developed by Cirque Du Soul and AEI Group, taking place across the beautiful deer park at Eastnor Castle. A truly independent event, El Dorado is programmed eclectically with real heart and soul featuring unique and immersive production experiences, games and activities, wellness, world class street food, entertainment and eclectic music throughout the weekend. In just four years, the El Dorado community continues to grow, with a 10,000+ capacity in 2020 and extended programming across the weekend

About The Role:

The role will involve a hands on approach covering all aspects of event promotion and management. You will learn and develop core skills in marketing, music, event management and more. The 12 month apprenticeship will offer the successful applicant a chance to gain a real insight into the music events industry with invaluable experience in both night clubs and festivals. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Digital & Promotion:

● Co-ordinating, managing and sourcing new members for our street promotion and ambassador teams

● Sourcing and managing on/offline influencers and influencer campaigns

● Sourcing group bookings and facilitating group sales

● Developing and implementing print promotion campaigns

● Managing and developing e-marketing and messenger bot strategies

● Creating and brainstorming new content ideas

● Creating and managing paid social media advertising campaigns

● Supporting planning, implementation and analysis of innovative marketing campaigns

● Overseeing and developing relationships with ticket selling partners i.e. Wasteland Ski, Groups, Brand Partners, University Societies, Clubs

● Handling customer service enquiries online and at events


● An understanding of digital advertising and staying ahead of the latest ad trends and solutions

● The latest music and artist trends and to help with talent booking suggestions

● Production concepts and putting forward ideas

● Develop an understanding of the UK club and festival scene


● Provide general office support in day to day duties

● Providing support and note taking in both internal and external meetings

● Working as part of the team on site at Cirque Du Soul events and El Dorado Festival

Skills Required

Essential Skills:

● An experience of working in music events or club nights or festivals and promotion at any level

● A keen interest and understanding of social media from a marketing perspective and of digital marketing generally

● Computer literate and generally tech savvy with the ability to learn computer software tools quickly and efficiently.

● A basic understanding of using wordpress and updating website content

● Some experience in using Facebook advertising

● The ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised

● Possess creativity and have the confidence to put forward ideas and suggestions

● Strong time management

● Strong communication skills both written and verbal

● A sales driven attitude

● A hard working ethos with a keen eye for detail

● The ability to multitask and manage deadlines Non-Essential But Very Desirable Skills:

● Experience in Mail Chimp or other e-marketing platforms and messenger bot
