We’re Treacle; a collective of creative copywriters.
We write specifically for marketing, digital and design agencies.
This might be for their agency website or their blog.
We’re looking for a talented writer to work on Treacle and client projects.

You’ll be a natural writer, with an interest in other types of digital content such as video, graphics, audio etc. You’ll write almost every day on a range of topics.

You’ll be on a Junior Content Producer L3 apprenticeship. This means you’ll spend 4 days a week working on Treacle projects, and 1 day a week studying your apprenticeship. The apprenticeship is a compulsory part of working with us at Treacle.

Your role will be split into 2 main areas:

For Treacle:

Writing Treacle blog content 
Interviewing agency owners
Setting up and running a Treacle YouTube channel
Updating Treacle social media with digital content
Creating written reports about agencies and brands
Attending agency events
Designing Treacle artwork
Contacting agencies and opening conversations
Writing how-to guides, e-books and other content

For our clients:

Writing agency website copy
Carrying out client and competitor research
Writing client blogs
Carrying out client interviews
Attending client meetings and workshops
Adding your creative ideas

Aged 16+
Eligible to work in the UK
Grade C/4 English and maths
Be able to write in a clear, concise and clever way
Enjoy writing about marketing, agencies and brands
Have an entrepreneurial streak
Be keen to learn video, graphics, web design and more
Have read every word on our website
Be happy to travel, write and work remotely
Be happy to work with the team in East London when needed
Feel comfortable travelling around London alone
Be happy meeting and talking to clients from agencies
Have creative ideas and lots of initiative
Be willing to get stuck in, make mistakes and learn
Be aware that this is an apprenticeship, not just a job
